Angela Degrassi - Executive Director
Angela is excited to be a part of the Autism Health & Fitness Team. Holding a BS in Recreation Resource Management with a concentration in Adventure Based Programs from Lyndon State, she got most of her adventures out of the way after college and spends most of her time behind a desk. That doesn’t mean you won’t see her on the gym floor working out or participating in an occasional training. Since joining the  Team she has completed her ISSA Personal Trainer Certification and ISSA Yoga Certification.

Part time athlete, part time administrative genie, her job is to keep the schedules in order and both members and trainers happy. Networking with the local ASD community, schools, and programs is also a big part of the job so you have our permission to share her business card with pretty much everyone.

Previously she has worked for Total Immersion, a swim company, under the direction of swim guru Terry Laughlin. She carries the kaizen spirit (striving for continuous improvement) to all her work and activities.

I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) and have a Master of Science Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and have extensive experience in food manufacturing project management, medical management, and hands-on clinical healthcare. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and adult and adolescent Brain Health First Aid certified. I’m also an Air Force Veteran and former EMT! My interests include fitness, volunteering, community outreach, camping and nature, cats, turtles and tortoises, and creative pursuits. My favorite part of belonging to the AHFC Family is seeing the members obtaining their goals, and - of course - the fun holiday parties!

Megan Sullivan - Front Desk

I am going for my BS in Sport Management with a minor in Marketing at the University of New Haven, expected to graduate in May 2024. My interests are going on walks with my 3 dogs and watching sports in my free time. I started as a volunteer here in 8th grade helping out with summer camp and other events going on at the gym. Now working at the front desk I enjoy coming to work and seeing all of our clients! I love working here to see the clients enjoying their work outs and having fun with their trainers.
