Kelsey E. - Program Director and Trainer
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, and I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). What drives me is working with individuals with special needs, especially when it comes to helping them get active. Being physically active is something I believe strongly in, as it has such a positive impact on both mental and physical health, and I’m dedicated to supporting people in finding ways to move in a way that’s meaningful to them.
I’ve spent over 15 years working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and in that time, I’ve learned so much from their resilience and unique perspectives. Every day I’m grateful for the opportunity to help people reach their full potential.
Fun fact: I have a cat named Pepper! In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, and traveling—activities that help me stay grounded and keep my energy up.

Sophia - Front Desk Associate
I am a senior Exercise Science student at Sacred Heart University and will be attending a Doctor of Physical Therapy program upon graduation! I've worked with children and adults with exceptionalities for many years—mostly through my involvement with Best Buddies and as a summer school paraprofessional. I first joined AHFC as an intern in summer 2025 and loved the facility so much that I came back as an employee! I’ve truly enjoyed witnessing the life-changing programming that the gym offers—it’s inspired me to take a similar approach with my future patients as a physical therapist. Physical activity is such an important part of maintaining good health, and AHFC makes it SO fun for all members! I’m so grateful to work with such an amazing facility and caring team of trainers!
