Kelsey E. - Program Director and Trainer
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, and I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). What drives me is working with individuals with special needs, especially when it comes to helping them get active. Being physically active is something I believe strongly in, as it has such a positive impact on both mental and physical health, and I’m dedicated to supporting people in finding ways to move in a way that’s meaningful to them.
I’ve spent over 15 years working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and in that time, I’ve learned so much from their resilience and unique perspectives. Every day I’m grateful for the opportunity to help people reach their full potential.
Fun fact: I have a cat named Pepper! In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, and traveling—activities that help me stay grounded and keep my energy up.

I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) and have a Master of Science Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and have extensive experience in food manufacturing project management, medical management, and hands-on clinical healthcare. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and adult and adolescent Brain Health First Aid certified. I’m also an Air Force Veteran and former EMT! My interests include fitness, volunteering, community outreach, camping and nature, cats, turtles and tortoises, and creative pursuits. My favorite part of belonging to the AHFC Family is seeing the members obtaining their goals, and - of course - the fun holiday parties!
